This Privacy Policy explains how Veracity GLK Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use the VeraCity Hub mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using the App you agree to this policy.
Who the App is for
VeraCity Hub is a business (B2B) back-office app for authorized staff, salesmen, distributors and dealers of Veracity GLK Group. It is not directed to the general public or to children under 18.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, mobile number, email address and the role/branch assigned to you by Veracity GLK Group.
- Authentication data — one-time passwords (OTP) sent to your mobile or email to sign you in securely.
- Business & transaction data — orders, invoices, purchase bills, payments, inventory, dealer and customer records you create or that relate to your account.
- Location information — with your permission, your device location is used only while you are using the App to pin a dealer’s address on the map and to record where a dealer visit was made. We do not track your location in the background.
- Camera & photos — images you choose to capture or upload for profile pictures, product images, cover images and expense/bill proofs.
- Device & usage information — basic technical details such as device type, app version and log data needed to operate the service and diagnose problems.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in (OTP).
- To provide the App’s features — order booking, inventory, invoicing, payments, field-sales routes and dealer visits.
- To attribute sales, commissions and targets to the correct user.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain security, prevent misuse and meet legal and tax obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- within Veracity GLK Group and its authorized users, as required for your work and the business relationship;
- with service providers who help us run the App (such as hosting and OTP/message delivery), under appropriate confidentiality obligations; and
- where required by law, regulation or a valid legal request.
Location permission
Location access is optional and is requested only when needed to map a dealer or record a visit. You can grant or revoke it at any time in your device settings; some visit-related features may not work without it.
Data retention & security
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as required for business, accounting and legal purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and legitimate business-record requirements. As the App is provided to you by Veracity GLK Group, please contact us or your administrator to exercise these rights.
Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the App means you accept the updated policy.
